The DSU Nursing Education Option

  • Fosters evidence-based pedagogies for future nursing professionals and change agents in nursing education. 
  • Offers opportunities for future educators to actively participate in nursing science and groundbreaking research to develop future educational scholars in teaching, research, scholarship, and civic engagement.

Online Program State Eligibility

Delaware State University participates in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), which permits the University to offer online education in participating states. Eligibility for enrollment in fully online programs is determined at the time of application review based on the applicant’s state of residence.

Applicants residing outside of Delaware should be aware that:

  • The University will review the applicant’s state of residence upon receipt of the application to determine eligibility for enrollment.
  • Individual states may have unique regulatory requirements related to education, faculty credentials, or professional roles.
  • While the Nurse Educator and Global Leadership program options do not lead to additional professional licensure, students are responsible for verifying any employment, certification, or regulatory requirements applicable in their state of residence.
